Chase recently launched a new sign-up bonus that has the points & miles enthusiasts excited!
You can earn unlimited matched cash back after your first 12 months with the card. That turns 3% on dining/drugstores and 1.5% on everything else become 6% and 3%, respectively, during the first 12 months. (Learn More)
For those who spend a lot at grocery stores, the Freedom Unlimited offer via a cardholder referral could be best. In this case the bonus is $200 cashback + 5% back at grocery stores for 12 months up to $12,000 spend. (Learn More)
Points Wire Note: The Freedom Unlimited pairs nicely with a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, or Ink Business Preferred as the cash back can then be converted to transferable Ultimate Rewards points.
Frequent Miler: "There is a new targeted Chase Offer / Bank of America Offer good for 10-15% back on Alaska Airlines up to between $45-$67 back. This will stack with Bank of America’s More Rewards Day that’s happening right now (provided you have it on a BOA card)."
The Points Guy: "Here's the big change: Starting Jan. 1, 2024, you'll earn 25 PQPs per $500 spent on an eligible cobranded United credit card instead of 500 PQPs for every $12,000."
Other changes starting in 2024 include:
The United Club Infinite Card will earn up to 10,000 Premier Qualifying Points (PQPs).
The cap of 15,000 PQPs that you can earn from all co-branded United cards has been removed.
The PQPs you earn will now count toward top tier Premier 1K Status.
You can transfer Amex Membership Rewards points to Hilton until December 31, 2023 and get a 30% bonus. That means the standard 1:1 transfer ratio is bumped up to 1:2.6 with a minimum transfer amount of 1,000 Amex points.
For context, Hilton points are worth about half a cent per point.
Points Wire Note: It's rare that transferring Amex points will make sense, especially when you consider that you can often buy Hilton points at half a cent per point.
Doctor Of Credit: "You need to be a Morgan Stanley customer to be eligible for this card and you can no longer use the access investing work around unfortunately. It’s rare we see increased offers on these co-branded versions of the Platinum card, so it’s worth signing up if you are eligible and can make use of all the various credits."
Bilt: Bilt has added Marriott Bonvoy as a new transfer partner. Transfers are 1:1 and for every transfer of 20,000 Bilt points in a single transaction, you'll re receive 5,000 bonus Marriott points.
You can earn 100 Bilt points by linking your Marriott account to Bilt in the Bilt app.

Points Wire Note: This is not a transfer partner that should be used in the vast majority of circumstances.
You can transfer Amex points to Hilton and get a 30% bonus through December 31, 2023. The standard transfer ratio is 1:2 (transfer minimum is 1,000 points), but this promo bumps it up to 1:2.6.
Points Wire Note: If you use Amex points for business or first class flights, you can skip this promo. If you book economy, it might be worth considering in a few circumstances. Generally, transferring Amex points to Hilton (or Marriott) isn't a great move.
The Bilt Card won the award for best no-annual-fee card at the TPG Awards last night. To celebrate, they've increased the referral bonus from 2,500 points + 10,000 points for every five referrals to 10,000 points per referral for everyone who applies via your link by November 30, 2023.

Frequent Miler: "If you have a Marriott credit card issued by Amex, check your Amex Offers as there’s a targeted offer giving +5 points per dollar at U.S. gas stations. That means you’ll earn 7x-9x depending on which type of card you get the offer on."
Points Wire Note: Marriott Bonvoy points are tough to earn with credit cards. This could be an easy way to give your balance a boost if you have a need for Marriott points.
