The Chase Aeroplan Card might not be a first tier priority, but it's a solid co-branded card for those who venture beyond transferable points.

IHG One Rewards has launched a promo in which those who have either of Chase's co-branded personal cards (IHG Premier Card or IHG Traveler Card) can get 15% off award stays.
To take advantage of the promo, you must book April 27, 2024 and complete your stay by June 10, 2024. The 15% discount will be applied and displayed at the time of booking.
This promo can be used on stays of up to 3 nights which means you can't pair this with the 4th night free offered to cardholders.
On April 24, 2024, IHG Platinum and Diamond members will also have access to this promo.
Points Wire Note:
Since late 2022, IHG One Rewards has run promos like this every 3-5 months.
Hyatt is running a 20% off sale at select properties in Asia. Here are the details:
This offer is not combinable with Hyatt Privé rates, but it's weighing the 20% discount against the Privé perks before booking. If the booking the cheapest rate is the priority, the 20% off promo might be your best option. However, Hyatt Privé does have 3rd, 4th, and 5th night free promos which could impact your decision.
US Travel's Daily Getaways promotion hasn't been particularly exciting this year. However, I wanted to flag a deal that goes live at 1:00PM ET today (April 23, 2024) that's worth considering.
You can get a 20% discount on three denominations of Marriott Bonvoy gift cards. The options include:
Please note that these tend to go quickly. I would suggest opening multiple browser windows for each denomination and seeing what you can get.
Of course, if you're unlikely to stay at a Marriott soon, you can just ignore this promo.

One Mile At A Time: "In 2019, British Airways introduced its new Club Suites business class, featuring direct aisle access and doors. This marks a massive improvement to the carrier’s business class experience. As is always the case when new business class products are introduced, the big question is the timeline with which seats will be rolled out."
"However, up until now, there’s not a single Boeing 787-8 or Boeing 787-9 in service with the new cabins. Fortunately that should be changing soon. A British Airways Boeing 787-8 is currently getting new cabins. The jet has the registration code G-ZBJA, and should hopefully enter service in the coming weeks. However, since this is the first aircraft of this fleet type to get new cabins, there’s a chance that certification could take some extra time."
The Bulkhead Seat: "Air Canada announced today that it’s increasing international capacity by 30% to Asia-Pacific destinations and 25% to Europe this summer. This includes six new routes and 11 increasing or resuming international flights."
Points Wire Note:
With more flights operating and thus more seats available, I hope this will lead to an increase in saver level award availability.
Live And Let's Fly: "It’s official. After numerous trials, United Airlines is finally bringing back multi-course meal service in Polaris Business Class, a move that will more closely align its service flow with that of Delta Air Lines and American Airlines."
"Consequently, United will formally reintroduce an additional course on flights over 3,900 miles (and all 767-300 flights) starting on May 1, 2024."
The Bulkhead Seat: "Aegean Airlines announced today that it is investing in four Airbus A321neo aircraft with lie-flat seats in Business Class, seatback screens throughout, and in-flight Wi-Fi. These aircraft will be used for non-European flights that range from four to 7.5 hours."
In addition to a new Flagship Suite Preferred seat, American Airlines is upgrading their soft product. Business class will be getting new amenity kits, new bedding, and new menus.
Additionally, the Flagship Suite Preferred seat will be getting amenities that go beyond business class.
AA's press release offers more on that: "This seat will offer customers expansive space, several storage areas and exclusive amenities like a Nest Bedding® mattress pad, a throw blanket, a memory foam lumbar pillow, Nest Bedding® pajamas and an exclusive amenity kit featuring additional skincare products from Thirteen Lune by Joanna Vargas and Relevant.
One Mile At A Time: "American Airlines has just announced that it will introduce a special product within business class, known as the Flagship Suite Preferred seat."
"This product will offer a larger space with more storage areas, and you can find renderings of it below."
"American is far from the first airline to try something like this. A lot of premium airline products can be configured efficiently by using the space to the side of the seat in front. However, in bulkhead seats there’s often a bit of extra space, so airlines are increasingly trying to monetize that."
