Rakuten is offering up to 12x on Dell purchases. If you have an Amex Business Platinum, this is a great time to use your first $200 Dell credit. If you can find something you need at Dell, 2,400 Amex Membership Rewards points via Rakuten at no cost is a nice bonus!
If you're new to the Amex Business Platinum, cardholders receive can receive up to $200 back from Dell purchases twice per year - once from January through June and once from July through December.
If you haven't joined Rakuten yet, you can sign up and earn a $30 bonus if you spend $30 within 90 days. If you link your Amex Membership Rewards account to Rakuten, you can earn Amex points instead which makes the bonus 3,000 points. In the past, we've seen the bonus as high as $40/4,000 points.

American Express is running two Amex Offers that can help you save on Marriott stays. Unfortunately, these offers are targeted so not everyone will see them. I didn't get them on any of my cards. Hopefully, you'll have better luck!
On personal cards, you can find an offer to get $100 back after spending $300+. On business cards, there's an offer to get 20% back up to a $60 back which you'd hit after spending $300.
Important terms for both offers:
You can get extra perks via Marriott STARS and Marriott Luminous when booking participating properties!
Book your luxury hotel stay with perks!
Points Wire Note:
If you're like me and don't enjoy manually adding every Amex Offer one by one, take a look at CardPointers+. I use their Chrome extension to automatically add all of my Amex Offers to each card so I never miss an offer.
Marriott Bonvoy has released some targeted promo offers for Q1 2024. I wasn't targeted with any offers, but I've seen reports of several offers so far.
If you get an offer, DM me on Instagram and let me know what you get! I'll update this post
Points Wire Note:
The double elite nights promo is one of my favorites. I had it last year and it helped me make some serious progress toward Lifetime Platinum status. It's definitely worth checking to see if you have an offer on your account. Whether it's an offer worth pursuing will depend on the exact offer. Some are great if you happen to have a stay, while others are so good that it's worth prioritizing Marriott stays.
Update: More people have been targeted with this offer as of August 7, 2024
Amex has launched a Business Checking bonus offer of up to 70,000 Membership Rewards points. Please note that this offer appears to be targeted.
To earn the 70,000 Amex points, you need to meet the following terms after getting approved:
"Qualifying transactions are mobile deposits, check deposits by mail, and electronic/online transactions including ACH, Wire, and Bill Payments. Business Debit Card transactions and deposits using our Redeem for Deposits feature are not qualifying transactions."
Log into Amex to see if you're targeted.
One Mile At A Time: "IHG One Rewards has just launched a lucrative sale on award nights, which could save you quite a few points on a redemption. This promotion is initially only available to those with a co-branded IHG credit card, and in a few days it will be extended to elite members as well."
If you need additional points, you can often buy IHG points with a 100% bonus which brings your cost to 0.5 cents per point. That's the best time to buy.
I wouldn't recommend transferring Bilt Rewards or Chase Ultimate Rewards points as you can get much more out of those points with other transfer partners.
Thai Royal Orchid Plus isn't a loyalty program you hear about much in the U.S. as their award rates aren't particularly competitive. However, Royal Orchid Plus has launched a 50% off award promo for Thai Airways' flight between Bangkok and Istanbul. This brings the one-way award rate down to 45,000 miles for business class and 21,250 miles for economy class.
You must book your ticket by January 15, 2024 and complete your travel between January 15 and March 15, 2024. The change fee is $200/$150 for business/economy class, respectively.
You will be on the hook for carrier-imposed surcharges which brings the one-way taxes/fees to ~$272 on business class award or ~$186 on an economy award.
For context, Air Canada Aeroplan requires 60,000 miles and Avianca LifeMiles requires 78,000 miles. However, they do not pass on the surcharges so the taxes/fees will be closer to ~$20. Turkish Miles&Smiles also requires 45,000 miles plus taxes/fees. Still, it's fun to see Thai's program offer some solid value!
If you want to book this promo as part of a trip to Southeast Asia and Europe or the Middle East, you'll need Citi ThankYou Points as that's the only program that transfer to Thai Airways.
Personally, I love niche booking opportunities for business class award tickets and would consider this if it fit my schedule.
Points Wire Note:
Your best bet to earn Citi ThankYou Points is the Citi Premier Card. You can pair a Citi Double Cash, Citi Custom Cash, or Citi Rewards+ with the Premier to earn additional points. However, the Citi Premier is the key to accessing transfer partners.

If you're unfamiliar with inKind, it's a restaurant app that provides discounted dining credits in many major cities across the US. I've used it many times in DC and NYC.
Citi is back with another Citi Merchant Offer for $25 back when you deposit $50+ in your inKind account via this link. Make sure you enroll in the Merchant Offer before making the purchase.

Every month, Air France-KLM Flying Blue releases a new set of Promo Rewards. This monthly promo offers discounted awards on select routes operated by Air France and KLM. The discount is generally 25% off the saver level award rate (the cheapest award rate).
Flying Blue Promo Rewards (August 2024)
Here are this month's options between Europe and the U.S./Canada.
Business Class - from 37,500 miles
Premium Economy - from 26,250 miles
Economy - from 15,000 miles
This is the first time I've seen a Flying Blue Promo Reward that isn't to/from Europe.
You can get $150 back as a statement credit when you spend $750+ at Langham Hotels and Resorts. This is a targeted Amex Offer. You need to activate the offer before you pay.
Important details:
Book With Benefits
While booking via Virtuoso technically means you aren't booking on Langham's site, it would be a direct booking Langham. These bookings generally trigger these Amex Offers.
Alternatively, you can book via Langham's own preferred booking program Couture by Langham.
Couture by Langham benefits:
Virtuoso benefits are similar. I'll flag that Virtuoso has a 3rd night free offer at the The Langham Chicago.
In 2023, new Hilton Honors members could earn 4,500 Hilton points for signing up and hitting the qualifications. For 2024, that bonus has been reduced to 3,000 Hilton points. Still, if you or friends have upcoming Hilton stays, you might as well sign up and earn the bonus points.
To earn the 3,000 points, you need two paid stays at Hilton properties. After the first stay, you'll earn 1,000 points. You'll earn the remaining 2,000 points after your second stay. Just remember that you need to complete the stays within six months of joining Hilton Honors so it's important to time when you sing up based on upcoming stays.
