The Points Guy: "Speculation on the topic gained momentum last week when the New York-based carrier reported its quarterly earnings, with executives using the occasion to lay out a far-reaching plan it's calling "JetForward" — a strategy meant to return the carrier to profitability for the first time since before the pandemic."
The new Synchrony Virgin Red Mastercard has opened a waitlist before the official launch.
For those unfamiliar, Virgin Red is the overarching rewards program that includes Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. You can link your Flying Club to Virgin Red so you can move points over to book flights.

Frequent Miler: "There’s another round of targeted welcome offers out for the American Express Delta business credit cards which don’t have Amex’s standard “once in a lifetime” language. Because of this, the offers produced should be obtainable for folks who have had the cards before or who have them now.
Points Wire Note:
If you want to get a Delta Business Amex card again, this might matter to you. Of course, these cards are almost worthless if you want to book business class award tickets to/from the U.S. If you'll use the SkyMiles to book business class on routes that don't touch the U.S., it might be worth considering. However, I wouldn't hold SkyMiles for any longer than necessary as even those options could be devalued at any moment.
For most people, these cards are third tier priorities at best.
Update: More people have been targeted with this offer as of August 7, 2024
Amex has launched a Business Checking bonus offer of up to 70,000 Membership Rewards points. Please note that this offer appears to be targeted.
To earn the 70,000 Amex points, you need to meet the following terms after getting approved:
"Qualifying transactions are mobile deposits, check deposits by mail, and electronic/online transactions including ACH, Wire, and Bill Payments. Business Debit Card transactions and deposits using our Redeem for Deposits feature are not qualifying transactions."
Log into Amex to see if you're targeted.
One Mile At A Time: "As of December 2024, Fiji Airways plans to launch 3x weekly flights between Nadi and Dallas, and flights are now on sale. This comes as Fiji Airways is becoming a full member of the oneworld alliance, and is also adopting American AAdvantage as its own frequent flyer program."
Doctor of Credit is reporting that they've received word that Capital one will be releasing new credit cards in the next couple of months. Additionally, they've been told to expected increased sign-up bonuses on number of credit cards.
Here's hoping the new cards can help us earn more Capital One Miles that we can transfer to airline partners!
Travel-Dealz: [translated from German by Google] "Lufthansa is always finding new ways to generate additional revenue. It is also cutting back on services that were previously taken for granted. Until recently, checking in on time guaranteed a free choice of almost all available seats. Two years ago, this option was removed: Anyone who booked the Economy Light fare within Europe is now assigned a fixed seat - and has to pay for every change."
"Now this unpopular rule is being expanded again. From August 13th, it will also apply to all long-haul flights with Lufthansa, Swiss and Austrian. Anyone who has booked the Economy Light fare will be allocated a seat by the system at check-in - and anyone who is not happy with this will have to pay at least €28 for a change. Only from the Economy Basic fare (including baggage) is a free seat selection at check-in possible."
This applies to existing bookings.

You can match to Gold Sparrow (oneworld Sapphire) with mid tier or top tier status from one of the following airlines. You can match low tier status to Silver Jay (oneworld Ruby), but I don't think it's worth it for most people.

Danny the Deal Guru: "Since 2012, Amex Offers have been a valuable benefit for American Express cardholders. These card-linked offers might not be as easily scalable as they used to, but we still see lots of great deals from time to time."
"American Express now says that this will be an ongoing trend as they have new targeting capability available to merchant advertisers on the platform. Certain new eligible U.S. Consumer Card Members will have the ability to be targeted with unique Amex Offers."
