One Mile At A Time: "Through Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the Avianca LifeMiles program is offering a bonus on purchased miles. While the publicly available promotion offers up to a 155% bonus, OMAAT readers who register can take advantage of a bonus of up to 160%."
To get the 160% bonus, you must register first then buy at least 21,000 LifeMiles. If you buy less than 21,000 miles, you'll get a 155% bonus.
Points Wire Note: If you have access to points and miles via credit cards, I generally only recommend buying miles in a couple of circumstances.
First, you need to top off your account and don't have points you can transfer to the airline program. Second, you've found award space, the cash rate is steep so buying miles would be a big discount and you'd rather save your points and miles for a time when buying miles at a cheap rate isn't possible.
Frequent Miler: "If you have a Marriott credit card issued by Amex, check your Amex Offers as there’s a targeted offer giving +5 points per dollar at U.S. gas stations. That means you’ll earn 7x-9x depending on which type of card you get the offer on."
Points Wire Note: Marriott Bonvoy points are tough to earn with credit cards. This could be an easy way to give your balance a boost if you have a need for Marriott points.
Turkish Airlines: Every week, Turkish discounts two routes in economy. This week, a Chicago and Luxembourg are the two winners.

Seal The Deal Travels: "Even after Marriott moved to dynamic pricing model for points redemptions, they still secretly assign categories to their hotels even though they removed their Category award chart. Knowing how to figure out a hotel’s category allow you to plan your points redemptions easier and see what redemptions are possible for Free Night Certificates since Marriott only allows you to top up to 15k Marriott points on your FNC’s."
"Apply for a Business Platinum Card and Business Checking account to earn more rewards when you bundle. Earn up to 220,000 Membership Rewards points after you apply, get approved and complete qualifying activities for Business Platinum and Business Checking."
This offer is available to a select group of current Amex cardholders. Log into your Amex account to see if you have the targeted offer. It should show as a pop-up as soon as you log into your account.
Points Wire Note: It appears to be a No Lifetime Language (NLL) offer so those targeted should be able to get the welcome bonus even if they have previously received the bonus. As always, make sure you read the fine print to double-check.
"Get 50% back as a statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to make purchases on the Uber or Uber Eats app by 12/31/2023. Limit of $25 back in total statement credits."
Log into your Amex account to see if you have the offer.
The Points Guy: "British Airways is now restricting the minimum number of guaranteed award seats to members of programs that use Avios as their loyalty currency.
However, BA regularly offers more than the minimum number of seats on many routes, especially transatlantic, and these additional seats remain available to all partners just as before."
The elevated United Business Card sign-up bonus is ending November 8, 2023. Currently, you can earn 75,000 United miles when you spend $5,000 in 3 months.
Points Wire Note: United has devalued their program a couple of times in the last few years. That being said, 75,000 miles is still a solid sign-up bonus if you have a use for the miles in the short/medium term.
One Mile At A Time: "JetBlue and Qatar Airways have had a close partnership for quite some time, including a codeshare agreement. Up until now, there have been no reciprocal redemption opportunities. Fortunately that appears to have just changed. I received an email from Qatar Airways Privilege Club indicating that redemptions on JetBlue are now possible."
Points Wire Note: Two JetBlue Mint (re. business class) sweet spots:
One-way transcontinental flights for 38,750 Avios
One-way transatlantic flights for 62,000 Avios.
Frequent Flyer Bonuses: "This special offer prices the same as the best Member Flexible Rate so you definitely should be booking the bonus points rate! 10,000 points at no extra cost means you are receiving ~US$50 or more in points not including the base points you earn, elite status bonus and credit card points."
Promo Code: M11
Dates: Stays must be completed by 11/30/23

Points Wire Note: If you'll be visiting Pittsburgh, this is a great bonus for a one-night stay. The lowest rate I found for one night was $210 including taxes/fees.
