Bilt Dining launched in select cities in April. By dining at a partner restaurant, you could earn 5x Bilt points on top of whatever your credit card earned.
A couple of additional cities were added recently and, as of today, there are now 23 cities with restaurants that are part of the Bilt Dining program. Cities include: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Riverside, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, DC.
However, some restaurants now earn 3x instead of 5x Bilt points. Still, that's 3x on top of what your credit card earns.
Bilt Dining is available to anyone with a Bilt account even if you don't have the Bilt Card.
Reports indicate that you should be able to stack this with the Seated app to earn cashback in addition to points. If you enter my referral code "spencer53" after downloading the app, we'll both earn $10 after your first meal.
Danny the Deal Guru: "Chase currently offers a $1,000 welcome bonus for the Ink Business Premier℠ Credit Card and a $900 bonus for the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card. But you can do much better. As we reported recently, at Chase branches you can get $1,500 for the Ink Business Premier℠ Credit Card and $1,200 for Ink Business Unlimited®."
Points Wire Note: These are targeted offers. Only select Chase business customers will see the increased offers.
If you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve, or Ink Business Preferred, the cashback/points you earn from the Ink Business Unlimited can be combined and thus become transferable points.
The cashback you earn from the Ink Business Premier canNOT be combined. Don't mistakenly get this card if you want points that transfer to airline and hotel partners.
Thrifty Traveler: "We just found some wide-open (and truly unprecedented) award availability to book the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa for 90,000 Hilton points a night from April through October 2024! There are also a smattering of dates available in March 2024, but it's a free-for-all for the rest of spring into the fall."
Points Wire Note: Great use of Hilton points + you get the fifth night free on award stays.
Singapore Airlines: "Treat yourself to a well-deserved retreat with KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes! Travel and redeem Saver award tickets at 30% off to selected destinations worldwide in the Singapore Airlines network."
"To enjoy the promotion, simply redeem your flights on SingaporeAir.com or the SingaporeAir mobile app from now till 31 October 2023, for travel from 1 to 30 November 2023, both dates inclusive."
God Save The Points: "The ETIAS non-visa, but “kind of a visa” was initially scheduled to roll out in early May of 2023. That obviously didn’t happen. More recently, it was tipped for the beginning of 2024. That’s not happening either."
"The closest thing we have to a “date”, is that EU officials now plan a roll out for the first half of 2025. Correct, any dreams of rolling this out in 2024 have been quashed, and in the meantime, there’s absolutely no reason to panic or worry about added travel entry requirements until… 2025."
Euronews: "EU Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson said in Luxembourg that the commission is looking into the issue of internal border checks, which she described as one of the challenges of the Schengen area."
Points Wire Note: Several EU countries have or are introducing border checks within the Schengen Area. Keep this in mind if you're traveling in Europe.
Travel on Points: "This is either a slight money maker or a minimal cost depending on which cards you find. The newest version of $200 Mastercard gift cards cost $7.95 each. You can pair a $200 gift card and a $100 gift card together to meet the requirement and save a little on the fees, but it is a better deal to buy 2 X $200 Mastercard gift cards and get the extra 500 points. If the store will let you buy 3 in one transaction you may be surprised by what you find."
Points Wire Note: If you have a Chase Ink Cash, you can earn 5x on this deal.
Loyalty Lobby: "Bonvoy Titanium and Ambassador members earn double elite qualifying nights + get 10% off at select properties. Only bookings made between October 22 – December 24 are eligible for the bonus elite nights."
"This offer has no registration requirement, but you must book the eligible stays between today (October 22) and December 24 and consume the night by December 31. There is a minimum spend requirement of $1,000 to be eligible for this offer."
Head for Points: "The rooms at Park Hyatt New York are bigger than many New York apartments, with standard rooms coming in at between 500 and 620 square feet according to the website."
"Not only are they large, they are beautifully designed. Park Hyatt hotels generally have oversized bathrooms and Park Hyatt New York does not disappoint."
Points Wire Note: The standard award rate at the Park Hyatt New York is 40,000 Hyatt points. If booking a cash rate, book via Hyatt Privé to get perks such as daily breakfast for 2, a $100 property credit, and an upgrade. Privé bookings are direct bookings with Hyatt so you'll earn points and elite nights
