Points Wire Note: I've been hearing from more and more people giving Frontier a try, especially once they've done a status match. I'll be curious to see if the low cost carrier can bring over some disenchanted elites from the Big 3 (American, Delta, United).
Travel on Points: Chase's application system has incorrectly denied some people for trying to open a Chase Freedom Flex within the 24 month restricted window.
Travel on Points shares the story of a reader:
"The one problem they did have was they still had the Freedom Flex open. You will not get approved for a Chase personal card if you currently have the same card open. They went ahead and product changed the Flex to a original / classic Freedom to take care of that issue."
"After that was handled, and waiting a few days, they submitted their application and were denied. They called and were told they were still within the 24 month window. They figured this was because of the product change and decided to wait a bit longer. After giving it some breathing room they applied again and were once again denied. It was like déjà vu and they were told once again they were not eligible because it was in the 24 month window."

Danny the Deal Guru: "The Chase Ink Business Premier is the latest addition to the family of Ink Business credit cards. It launched last year in-branch only at first and then online for everyone."
"This is an interesting card as it earns cash back or Ultimate Rewards points that have very limited use. Officially you can’t combine them with the points earned from other Ultimate Rewards cards such as Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Ink Preferred."
"But something seems to have changed in recent days. There are a few datapoints on reddit and in our Facebook Group, that it is indeed possible to transfer points to other cards."
Points Wire Note: If this is an intentional change by Chase, the Ink Premier could quickly become a popular card for points enthusiasts. I'll keep an eye on this one!

Danny the Deal Guru: "American Express has launched three promotions to earn extra points for adding Employee Cards to your business accounts. These offers are not quite as good as the ones we used to see a couple of years ago, but they can still be valuable as you can earn an additional 3.75X on all your spending."
